Rika Fujimoto (1991-, Japan)
Rika Fujimoto is a London-based performing artist specializing in physical expression through circus, dance, and clowning. Trained in ballet and contemporary dance in Japan, she set off on a journey as a backpacker after university, eventually settling in Turkey, where she worked as a show dancer in cabaret productions. Through her travels, she gained invaluable life experiences across different countries and cultures shaping her artistic vision. This journey eventually led her to London, where she continues to cultivate her artistry. Rooted in a lifelong connection to the arts and culture, she continues to explore new creative forms, including piano and voice, creating performance the essence of her life.
